YOU are the Foundation for a Healthy Future!
I don't want anyone to experience the news that I heard 27 years ago - "You tested positive for HIV." Yet, today across the nation and in Austin, we are seeing an increase in new HIV infections in people under the age of 30.
We are so fortuante to have treatments for HIV that can help people live well with HIV. But, it is not as simple as taking a pill and there definitely is NOT a cure. That is what we hear from younger adults these days...until they receive the news and the reality of what an HIV diagnosis means.
ASA is here to expand our testing initiatives to get people into care early, keep them on their medications, and reduce the spread of HIV to others.
YOU are a critical and necessary element to helping people with HIV while also working to stop the spread of HIV. Please CONTRIBUTE today to our work. Please support our work and me with a contribution of $25, $50, $100, or more. Please support our work and me with a contribution of $25, $50, $100, or more. Please RAISE AWARENESS about how HIV is impacting Austin and how this next generation is now being affected. We need you and appreciate you. JOIN me and AIDS Walk Austin.
Thank you for your generous support. Every dollar counts to helping people live better with HIV. I know…..27 years later after my diagnosis, I am still here building a healthy future for myself and for others.
